The Importance of a Personal Development Plan

It does not matter your age, you still keep growing. People are meant to grow spiritually, physically, mentally. Those who wake up daily with no vision or goals are not growing. Some people who sit to wait to die are not growing. This should not be so! Life is LIFE meant to be lived and do. Meant to create. Meant to be more than just waiting to die.

We are made in the image of God according to Genesis 1:27  27 So God created mankind in his own image,  in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God is creator. He made us to create as well on many many levels.

What are you doing to grow? To learn? To create? What are you developing in your life? What are you speaking life into? God created the world by speaking, read this in Genesis One.

We too have the ability by our words to create good or bad. Speak life into your growth, your situations, your business, your family, your finances, your health, you name it. That is step two of a personal development plan. The first step is seek God! Matthew 6:33 33 But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Now how about starting 2018 off with a personal development plan? I have one myself. I see it now as so important to keep help growth in my life. I want 2018 to be the best year yet. I want to grow, create and be more for the glory of God.

If your wondering how to do a plan simply write out all your personal, spiritual & business goals. Then set a daily routine in writing that will help you get to that. Even if you spend 15 -20 minutes a day working towards a goal it is much better than never even trying toward it! Progress is important not perfection! God does expect us to do our part and he will do the rest.

I love listening to motivational teaching and coaching by Terri Savelle Foy. She is a Christian gal who has helped thousands reach their God given potential. Check out her video on  The Importance of  a Personal Growth Plan.

Terri dives deeper into helping you understand the need and the how of the development plan. So do not wait. Get busy writing out that plan. You only have one life to live, create and be!

THE BEST IS YET TO COME

  1. Love this blog post and the idea of creating a personal development plan!!! I’ve been thinking about my goals for 2018 a lot recently. I even purchased a guided journal that helps you break down your goals into steps to help you get a clearer picture of what needs to be done to accomplish the goal. I’m going to watch Terri’s video. I also love watching and listening to motivational teachings. Thanks for sharing it with us.
